Gulf Coast visitors celebrate last day of Spring Break Event

Thousands of visitors enjoyed the Mississippi Gulf Coast, we take a look at Beach Blvd as folks celebrate the last day of Spring Break.

“The Spring Break weekend here along Beach Blvd. We’re at Beach Blvd in Brierfield here in Biloxi. You can see the folks are enjoying their final day of celebration. Some folks just sitting around, enjoying the sun. Enjoying the sun, enjoying the sand.

A few folks are in the water. The party goes all the way down here along Beach Blvd. All the way from our vantage point, past the mall, and continuing down Beach Blvd.

One of the issues that folks have told me about this weekend that they’ve had to deal with is finding a place to park. So they’ve had to be creative in their parking spaces. Some saying that they’ve simply been parking at Edgewater Mall. Some have been taking their chances in some of their neighborhoods.

A lot of the “tow you” signs have been out there as well, so we’ve seen some vehicles that have been towed. There were some gates on the street where it was impossible to make a u-turn. It’s a little bit better on Sunday, the final day of the Spring Break event.

Folks overall, it looks like they’re having a fun time and having a very peaceful time here in Biloxi.”
