2 arrested, 2 wanted in connection with construction site burglaries in Jackson County

During an ongoing investigation into multiple construction site burglaries and thefts in the Vancleave area, over a dozen firearms, a felony amount of narcotics, and over 30 stolen items belong to Yates Construction were recovered from a residence.
The following suspects were arrested:
- Joshua Gaither, 40, of Vancleave was arrested on outstanding warrant and charged with one count of possession of a weapon by convicted felon.
- Cody Mallette, 31, of Vancleave was arrested and charged with one count of possession of weapon by convicted felon
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department has obtained felony warrants on two other individuals who are currently wanted:
- Alan Mallett, 57, of Vancleave for possession of a weapon by convicted felon
- KC Mallette, 32, of Vancleave for possession of a weapon by convicted felon
