Two suspects charged in connection with armed robbery in Jackson County
On April 1st, 2024, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department responded to the Red Roof Inn in St. Martin in reference to an Armed Robbery of an individual.
Deputies were able to identify and detain two suspects, as they were attempting to leave the scene. During the investigation, the victim’s property, a firearm, and a felony amount of narcotics were recovered.
A 17-year-old was charged with one count of armed robbery. 33-year-old Kendrick Cox was charged with accessory after the fact and possession of a controlled substance.
No one was injured during the robbery. The suspects were transported to the Jackson County Adult Detention Center and currently have no bond.
