Hundreds enjoyed lunch at the Lyman Senior Center Fish Fry

More than 250 people gathered at the Lyman Senior Center for a fried catfish lunch.

Members of the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office cooking team manned the fryers.

The cooking team fried up 120 pounds of fish and 650 hush puppies and served 30 pounds each of coleslaw and potato salad for lunch while Tony Graham, the chaplain at the Harrison County Jail, delivered a Good Friday message.

Organizers say it was their first Good Friday fish fry but plan to do it again given they had such a packed house for the event.
