City of Gulfport issues ’emergency road closure’

(Gulfport, Mississippi) – The City of Gulfport has issued an “Emergency Road Closure” for a water main repair.

Both east and westbound lanes of Gary Street between David Street and Klein Road will be closed to thru traffic.

Klein Road, Darran Street, David Street, and Community Road will be used as the designated detour route.

The “Emergency Road Closure” will take effect immediately and is expected to reopen Friday, March 29, 2024, at 3:30 PM, weather permitting.

The City of Gulfport is asking all citizens to observe and follow all traffic markers placed in the area.
