Emergency Road Closure for O’Neal Road in Gulfport

(Gulfport, Mississippi) – The City of Gulfport has issued an “Emergency Road Closure” for the installation of a new storm drain in preparation of a paving project on O’Neal Road.

Both east and westbound lanes of O’Neal Road between Three Rivers Road and Trailwood Drive will be closed to through traffic.

Three Rivers Road, Mays Road, and Simpson Road will be used as the designated detour route.

The “Emergency Road Closure” will take effect on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 7:00 AM and is expected to reopen Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 3:30 PM, weather permitting.

The City of Gulfport is asking all citizens to observe and follow all traffic markers placed in the area.
