City of Gulfport issues boil water notice

The City of Gulfport has issued a boil water notice, affecting citizens in the surrounding area of North Kern Drive.

The cause is a water main needing repairs.

The notice extends east to Shirley Drive and from Darby Street, north to Klein Road.

This also encompasses Debra Drive from Shirley Drive to the dead end, Michelle Drive from Beverly Drive to Legg Drive, and Brenda Drive from Michelle Drive to the dead end.

Those who acquire their drinking water from this area are asked to boil water vigorously for one minute and let it cool before consuming.
