The Southern Miss Golden Eagle’s season comes to an end in the 2nd round of the Sun Belt conference tournament

The postseason began on Thursday for the Southern Miss Golden Eagles as they took on Texas State in the second round of the Sun Belt conference tournament.

Things started positive for the Golden Eagles in their conference tournament opener but things got out of hand quickly in the second half.

Southern Miss played catch up the entire game and unfortunately, despite three players scoring in double-figures, saw their season come to an end at the hands of the 11th seeded Bobcats, losing 75-59.
