William Carey Tradition moving towards next steps in expanding campus
William Carey University’s Tradition Campus is on the next steps toward expansion.
The plans are currently in phase three, planning for a new dormitory and a two-story building next to Scianna Hall.
The current plans for the dormitory include a recreation area and a student success center on the ground floor.
The building next to Scianna Hall would house a high-tech nursing simulation lab on the second floor and a full cafeteria on the first floor. The new cafeteria would replace the existing Crusader Café.
The first phase of the plan came to fruition in August 2009 when the campus opened its doors and phase two happened in 2018 when Scianna and Sanderson Halls were opened.
