VFW national commander-in-chief visiting the coast
The VFW National Commander-in-Chief Duane Sarmiento will be visiting the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
The visit will happen at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Veterans Memorial Park in Ocean Springs.
He will be arriving at 1:30 in the afternoon.
The visit is part of a fundraising opportunity for the expansion and maintenance of the memorial park.
Individuals or groups can buy an engraved brick to be placed in the walkway, creating a Walk of Honor for those who served the country.
