New Lyman Senior Center hosting Black History Month event

The New Lyman Senior Center is hosting a Black History Month celebration event on February 9.

The event begins at 12:30 and is free for the public.

Guest speakers include former Harrison Central basketball star Tiffany Travis and Southern Miss running back Sammy Winder.

The national anthem will be sang by Janice Green and retired judge Damon Reece will be offering the prayer.
