Two arrested on armed robbery charges in Gulfport

On January 28, 2024, the Gulfport Police Department arrested a 16-year-old and 20-year-old Kendarious Omowala Rodgers. The 16-year-old was charged with one count of Armed Robbery and one count of Burglary of a Residence. Rodgers was charged with one count of Armed Robbery and one count of Burglary of a Residence.
On February 5, 2024, the Gulfport Police Department arrested 18-year-old Santavious Danez Walker and 19-year-old Tyrick Rshuwn Presley. Walker was charged with one count of Armed Robbery, one count of Burglary of a Residence, two counts of Trafficking Fentanyl and MDMA, and one count of Possession of Marijuana. Presley was charged with one count of Armed Robbery, one count of Burglary of a Residence, two counts of Trafficking Fentanyl and MDMA, and one count of Possession of Marijuana.
On January 28, 2024, at approximately 8:08 a.m., Officers responded to the 3300 block of 39th Avenue in reference to a burglary in progress.
As officers arrived, Rodgers attempted to flee but was apprehended. Three suspects, later identified as the 16-year-old, Presley, and Walker, fled out the rear window of the apartment. After a short foot pursuit, the 16-year-old was apprehended. Multiple firearms and narcotics were seized at the scene.
The two were interviewed, processed, and transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center to be held in lieu of their $200,000 bonds.
On February 5, 2024, the Marshals Fugitive Task Force located Presley and Walker in Meridian, Mississippi, and took them into custody.
