Community comes out to Krewe of Nereids Parade in Waveland
The Krewe of Nereids Parade held their parade in Waveland on Sunday.
Thousands lined Highway 90 to see the parade featuring floats, Joppa Shriners, dance teams, and marching bands.
The event celebrated Mardi Gras and the krewe announced Queen Doris the 56th.
The parade originated from the 1960s Nereids Mardi Gras Krewe from Hancock County and is an all-woman team.
