Boil water notice for parts of Gulfport

The City of Gulfport has issued a boil water notice due to a water main repair.

The areas impacted include Shirley Drive to North Kern Drive, Michelle Drive and Darby Street north to Klein Road.

Other areas include Debra Drive from Shirley Drive to the dead end. Brenda Drive from Michelle Drive to the dead end will be affected as well.

Residents who get their drinking water from the area are asked to boil water for one minute and let it cool before drinking.

The Gulfport Public Works Department will alert residents when the water meets the standards of the Safe Drinking Water Law.

Citizens who acquire their drinking water from this area are asked to boil water vigorously for one minute and let it cool before consuming.
