Ocean Springs files application for small-craft marina on Front Beach

The city of Ocean Springs has filed an application for the construction of a small-craft marina on the shoreline of Front Beach.

The marina would be located at the intersection of Front Beach Avenue and Jackson Avenue.

Plans call for a sheltered basin with breakwater structures, piers, decks, and parking for users.

The marina is also planned 88 boat slips.

A public hearing will be held on the project proposal tonight at 5:30 at the Bolton Building in Biloxi.
