Pascagoula man arrested for domestic violence/aggravated assault

Pascagoula Police made an arrest in a domestic violence/aggravated assault case.

Police say Latwan Hammond was leaving his girlfriend’s home this past Sunday when he shattered her car’s windshield.

He then got into his car and wrecked into the back of her car.

The girlfriend then tried to drive to the police department and Hammond followed her and crashed into her car again.

He pushed it into buildings at the Pascagoula Recreation Center.

The girlfriend was eventually able to make it to the police station and report Hammond.

Further charges are pending against Hammond in this case.
