Arrested on aggravated assault warrant in Biloxi
On January 22, 2024 around 5:03 pm, Biloxi Patrol Officers responded to the 300 block of Lameuse Street in reference to a report of a firearm being discharged in the area.
Upon arrival, officers were told that an unknown male had discharged a firearm into a home.
Officers were later able to identify the suspect as 32-year-old Steven Demars Hillie of Indianola, Mississippi.
Based on the information learned, Biloxi Criminal Investigators contacted Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain and obtained an arrest warrant for Hillie.
On January 24th, contact was made with Hillie and he was arrested on the aggravated assault warrant. He was later transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center, where he is being held on a $250,000 bond.
No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
