Krewe of CASA Mardi Gras Gala benefiting those in need
On Saturday, the 12th annual Krewe of CASA Mardi Gras Gala was presented by Warren Automotive and Parker Contracting.
This annual event kicks off Carnival season and attendees come from all over the Gulf South to be a part of the festivities.
It was a fun night of music, dancing, food and community, as the Coast comes together to raise money to help kids in need. CASA of South Mississippi Executive Director Cynthia Chauvin said, “So all of the proceeds tonight benefit the children of Hancock County that have been abused or neglected. As people in advance have purchased tables, we had a sellout for the event. So many people have generously donated food for the evening. We have an incredible band, D-Play. We have an online silent auction that will actually go on until Monday evening.”
CASA of South Mississippi members say they look forward to this event every year.
