Hancock quarterback Dylan Moran makes things official with Faulker University

This past football season we were absolutely blown away by the determination and grit shown by the Hancock Hawks, and one major piece of that puzzle was their quarterback and our former WXXV Student Athlete of the Week, Dylan Moran.

Now that he’s led the hawks to their best season since 2017, he’s headed to Montgomery, Alabama to continue doing what he loves.

On Friday, Moran was surrounded by family and friends as he officially let the ink dry with Faulkner university. The top ranked quarterback in 6A had a phenomenal senior season with over 2,300 yards, 28 passing touchdowns, and one rushing touchdown.

He also recently played in the 2023 Bernard Blackwell All-Star game earlier last month.
