Emergency road closure issued in the area spanning from Dedeaux to Landon Road in Gulfport

The City of Gulfport has issued an “Emergency Road Closure” in response to a water main repair, affecting residents and businesses along Old Highway 49.

The closure will impact the southbound lane, spanning from Dedeaux Road to Landon Road. During this period, the northbound lane will remain open to accommodate through traffic.

The “Emergency Road Closure” is effective Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 8:00AM, anticipated to reopen at 3:30PM, weather permitting.

The City of Gulfport is asking all citizens to observe and follow all traffic markers placed in the area.
