Boil Water Notice issued in area near Dedeaux Road in Gulfport

(Gulfport, Mississippi) – The City of Gulfport has issued a “Boil Water Notice” in response to a water main repair, affecting citizens in the area encompassing Dedeaux Road, extending north to Eugene Drive and spanning from Terri Road eastward to Russ Road.

Citizens who acquire their drinking water from this area are asked to boil water vigorously for one minute and let it cool before consuming.

The Gulfport Public Works Department will alert residents when the water meets the standards of the Safe Drinking Water Law.
