Chronic Wasting Disease meeting in Harrison County

Tonight, The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks is holding a meeting to discuss chronic wasting disease in deer in South Mississippi. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at the West Harrison High School gym.

Topics surrounding effects and management of the disease will be talked about.

Earlier this year, a hunter harvested buck in Harrison County tested positive for CWD.
