Laurin St. Pe’ named CEO of Singing River Health System

The Singing River Health System’s Board of Trustees announced today the immediate appointment of Laurin St. Pe’ as its Chief Executive Officer.
“We are thrilled to announce Laurin St. Pe’ as the new CEO of Singing River,” said Steve Ates, Board President. “His wealth of healthcare experience and proven track record make him the ideal leader to steer our health system toward its next phase of growth and success.”
St. Pe’, who has been serving as interim CEO since July, said he is honored to take the permanent position.
“I am honored to assume the role of CEO at Singing River,” he said. “Together with our dedicated team, we will continue our mission to improve health, save lives, and provide exceptional healthcare services to the Mississippi Gulf Coast communities.”
St. Pe’ is the third CEO in two years. Lee Bond, who became CEO in April 0f 2018, left in February 2022. He was succeeded by Tiffany Murdock, who took over in November and resigned in June of this year. St. Pe’ has been serving as interim CEO since July.
His leadership includes administrator of Singing River Health System’s Pascagoula Hospital and Gulfport Hospital, in addition to overseeing program service lines throughout the entire system before becoming chief operating officer of Singing River.
St. Pe’ also helped in the financial revitalization of Singing River Health System while steering the organization toward financial stability.
