Planet Fitness Grand Opening in Pascagoula

Jackson County residents now have one less excuse to head over to the gym.
Planet Fitness opened its fourth location on the Gulf Coast in Pascagoula last night. The brand new site created 20 jobs for the flagship city. The gym offers 100 cardio machines, 30 minute express workouts and free personal training opportunities.
Officials tell News 25 they are excited to be a part of Pascagoula residents’ fitness journeys and have already received a warm welcome from the community. Andrew Zornes, general manager for Planet Fitness in Gulfport, said, “Pascagoula has a great opportunity now to get a little more healthy, a little more fit, tons of cardio at Planet Fitness. We’re opened and staff 24/7. There’s free fitness training. I think it can really have a strong, positive impact in the community.”
Along with the brand new Pascagoula location, Planet Fitness is open in Biloxi, Gulfport and Ocean Springs.
