Ole Miss chancellor honored with National Guard award

Ole Miss Chancellor Glenn Boyce was awarded the highest honor the Mississippi National Guard can bestow on a civilian.

State Senator and National Guard Major General Trent Kelly presented Boyce with the award on November 18 during an Ole Miss football game.

The award honors those who have shown commitment and support to the National Guard.

According to Ole Miss’s head of veteran and military services, Boyce has provided “top-down support” for veterans and military connected students since becoming chancellor in 2019.
