Children’s Mardi Gras Christmas Party

Mardi Gras and the Christmas Season, doesn’t that sound like a great mix?

Well, Gulf Coast Carnival Association Royalty, along with Santa Claus, were down at Mary Mahoney’s Old French Restaurant hosting a children’s Mardi Gras Christmas.

Guests were able to take photos with Jolly St. Nick and it even snowed at the event thanks to Giant Foam Party.

Kids were seen having a blast and they were even throwing snowballs. Queen Ixolib Abby Raworth said, “You know, we never have snow here, so it’s a good time to have snow. Everyone gets to enjoy it.”

King D’Iberville Trey Sutton said, “It’s very rare, with it being 68 degrees outside today, but it’s about bringing the kids together and merging the holiday season with Mardi Gras season.”
