Plane forced to make emergency landing at Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport

Earlier today, a plane was forced to make an emergency landing at the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport.

According to the FAA, a CommutAir flight landed safetly at the airport around 5:30.

Crew reported smoke in the lavatory.

The plane originally departed Pensacola International Airport and was en route to the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston.

The FAA will investigate the cause.
