BOIL WATER NOTICE: 40th Street in Gulfport affected

The City of Gulfport has issued a boil water notice for the citizens on 40th Avenue, extending from Hancock Avenue to the cul-de-sac.

The advisory also includes Commerce Street and spans from 40th Street to Courthouse Road.

Citizens in these areas are asked to boil water vigorously for one minute and letting it cool before consuming.

The Gulfport Public works Department will alert residents when the water meets the standards of the Safe Drinking Water Law.
