Holiday light displays brighten up the nights
The Gulfport Harbor Lights Winter Festival isn’t the only place you can catch a holiday light display. Here are a few of the light shows going on this season. If you’d like to be added to the list, please email us at news@wxxv25.com with all of the details!
- The Hattula Family Light Show, 6917 Southwind Drive in Biloxi began at 5:30 p.m. Thanksgiving night. The show plays Sunday through Thursday 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. They also will have letters to Santa and even a visit from the the jolly old elf.
- The Willis Family Lights will be back on at 5022 Sand Dollar Drive in Long Beach. Hours are 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
- Penny Lane Estates has a neighborhood Christmas display you can drive through. The neighborhood just off Pineville Road in Long Beach. The mile-long display is open during the season and can be found on GPS by searching for Copper Court in Long Beach.
- Shelby Pierce of Woolmarket has the Wiener Wonderland light display, which is used to bring awareness to Tired Dog Rescue. More than 65 lighted daschunds are part of the display. Wiener Wonderland is at Karli Lane and Shorecrest Road. Donations are accepted to help Tired Dog Rescue.
- TrainTastic, formerly the Mississippi Coast Model Railroad Museum will host its annual Christmas Lights Festival Thursday, Friday and Saturday during December. The museum has more than 2 million holiday lights on display, a train ride, cookie and ornament decorating and more from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on those days.
