MHP responds to pedestrian hit by car
Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a report of a pedestrian hit by a car around 1 this morning.
The pedestrian was hit on Highway 63.
A car was driving north on Highway 63 and hit a man from Jackson.
The pedestrian was walking south in the northbound lane.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is under investigation by MHP.
