Keesler Holds Special Sesame Street Show for Kids

The two free shows featured all the kids’ favorite characters, including a special Muppet named Katie, who also is a part of a military family. During the show, Katie’s character relates to the children who may have a loved one overseas or has to move away from friends to another base.

Nicole McLendon, Tour Manager, says, “It’s a show specifically geared for our military families. There’s a very special Muppet named Katie who is created for this show especially. What makes her special, she’s a military kid herself. You can only meet Katie if you come to this show. She’s pretty awesome, like you won’t see her on Sesame Street.”

This year, the tour has traveled to 69 bases in 32 states.
