27th annual Holiday Boutique kicks off in Pass Christian

If you’re looking to get your holiday shopping done early this year, there is an event to help you do just that this weekend.

The 27th annual Holiday Boutique kicked off today featuring local artisans and businesses as well as out-of-state vendors.

Everything from arts and crafts to clothes and food is all on display and for sale during the event. Admission is $5, which gets you access to more than 30 regional vendors and business owners.

Holiday Boutique Chairwoman Jo Ann Francingues says this event is great exposure for those participating. “These are artists, and a lot of the time they don’t get recognition for the things that they do. And this is a good way for them to meet the public, and tell them about things specifically on how they were made where they came from and what they did.”

The Holiday Boutique will be going on Saturday as well from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
