Gautier High School pays tributes to local veterans

In Gautier, students and staff celebrated local veterans and their families ahead of Veterans Day for the school’s annual Veterans Breakfast.

Veterans and students alike packed into Gautier High’s gymnasium for the school’s 24th annual Veterans Day Breakfast.

Students gave rounds of applause and tokens of appreciation for local veterans and their families with performances from the school’s dance team, band, and choir.

Colonel Billy Pope Jr., commander of the 81st Training Wing at Keesler Air Force Base, served as guest speaker of the event.

The breakfast was a great way for students and staff to show their appreciation honoring those who served.
