Traffic stop leads to drug bust in Gulfport
Gulfport police recover a large amount of narcotics, cash, and guns after a traffic stop.
Officers stopped a car on Pass Road yesterday afternoon for speeding and having an unrestrained infant in the passenger seat.
When police searched the vehicle, they found 148 grams of methamphetamine, eight grams of cocaine powder, and 65 grams of marijuana, along with a gun.
The 46-year-old driver of the car was arrested and taken into custody.
Gulfport and Biloxi police then searched the man’s property in Biloxi where they found additional illegal narcotics, along with $20,000 in cash and an AR-15.
