Piney Woods Heritage Festival

Coming up this weekend is the Piney Woods Festival at the Crosby Arboretum in Picayune.

The event is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow. It’s a tribute to the history and heritage of the Piney Woods region.

You can see a blacksmith at work, watch spinners and weavers, see a demonstration of basket weaving using pine needles, quilting, and more.

Plus, there will be bluegrass music, Native American dancers, and the Piney Wood cloggers.
