Lynn Meadows offering Free Friday

Kids and parents, get ready for an evening of free fun at the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center!

On the last Friday of every month, the children’s museum waives its entry fee and stays open late – until 8 PM.

Museum director Joshua Poirrier said Free Fridays are an opportunity to make museum attendance accessible for families with unique schedules and financial constraints.

“So Free Friday night is an amazing thing we’ve been able to do on the coast for several, several years now. We are now sponsored by Hancock Whitney, they come and do a little activity in art room teaching about financial literacy and everything like that.” said Poirrier. “And then we are able to open, inside and outside, completely free to the public, which is really great for those that might not be able to come in any time. We’re open after hours, which we’re never open for, so it gives families an opportunity to come see us that may not be able to see us on any other day or time.”
