CASA holds third annual Red Beans Cookoff Fundraiser

A local non-profit organization in Hancock County held an annual cook-off, leaving hundreds of guests with a full belly.

CASA of Hancock County held its third annual Red Beans Cookoff in Diamondhead.

Over a dozen teams competed in several categories, including best red beans, cornbread, best non-traditional red bean dish, and best decorated booth.

There was also a People’s Choice Award, allowing guests to get in on the voting action.

All funds raised during the cookoff will go towards supporting kids in need and kids in foster care.
