Six Gulf Coast volleyball teams are competing in the MHSAA South State matches tonight

With the changes recently made in MHSAA classifications, schools in Mississippi now go from class 1A all the way to 7A. Out of the seven classifications battling it out this week for volleyball south state titles, the Mississippi Gulf Coast will be represented in four of them.

Starting things off in the 7A realm, Brandon high school will be hosting our Lady Greyhounds, Ocean Springs tonight for the semifinal round.

Right here on the coast, two of our 6A teams, George County and Hancock, will see which one of them will represent in the State Championship.

The East Central Hornets will head to South Jones tonight for the 5A South State match.

Lastly, two more of our talented coast teams will go head to head. Our Lady Academy and St.. Patrick high school will be competing for the South State title in class 3A.

We wish the best of luck to all of our volleyball programs competing tonight
