Harrison County Advocacy Center hosting Wellness Workshop

“It’s okay to not be okay,” words to remember as the guests on our midday show remind us.

Jeannie Herrin and Valerie Dematties from Harrison County Advocacy Center joined us at noon to speak about an upcoming wellness workshop. As mental illness is on the rise in the United States, the Harrison County advocacy center is holding a free wellness workshop open to the community.

They say the workshop will be informative, stress-free, and interactive. “Mental illness is on the rise right now. And this really helps individuals.” “It impacts families and friends and loved ones, and we wanted to have something at our center to help the community.”

The wellness workshop will take place on October 20th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Harrison County Advocacy Center.
