Biloxi principal rings in 50’s with a Sock Hop
A principal in Biloxi is kissing her 40’s goodbye as her school welcomes her into her 50’s.
Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Elementary School held a sock-hop birthday party for their principal, Traci Kessler.
Students, faculty, and staff gathered into the 1950’s themed gymnasium to surprise their principal for a day of fun.
The party featured different activity stations for kids, including cup stacking, face painting, and a test of speed and balance with a relay race.
Principal Kessler says she’s thankful for everyone who helped pull of the surprise.
“I thought we were having a sock-hop to celebrate Cruisin’ in Biloxi, but it turns out we’re celebrating my 50th birthday,” said Principal Kessler. “Thank you to all the Nativity Saints students, parents and teachers for helping me feel so blessed today.”
Principal Kessler says one of her birthday wishes is to live another 50 years and to continue doing God’s plan.
