Arrested on credit card fraud

Dominic Powe

Wednesday, September 27, 2023, Chief Shannon Nobles announces the arrest of Dominic Tevin Powe, 33, a resident of Biloxi, Mississippi, on the charge of Credit Card Fraud, which took place in the 3700 block of Sangani Boulevard on August 28-29, 2023.

On September 08, 2023, the D’Iberville Police Department took a report of Credit Card Fraud in which the victim stated her credit card was used without her consent on August 28th and 29th, 2023, at a local business in D’Iberville.

The victim stated she knew the suspect, Dominic Tevin Powe, who used her card because she had allowed him to use the card on a previous occasion.

The victim stated her card was then used for online purchases without her consent, and the items were picked up in another jurisdiction.

The D’Iberville Police Department began their investigation, which revealed Powe did, in fact, use the victim’s card for unauthorized purchases and obtained an arrest warrant.

On September 26, 2023, the D’Iberville Police Department was made aware Powe was being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center on a non-related offense through the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

Powe was then served with a warrant for the credit card fraud crime. Powe was given a $25,000.00 bond set by Harrison County Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain pending an initial appearance.
