Pearl River ends TD drought with explosive start, loses 24-21 OT heartbreaker to Hinds

POPLARVILLE, Miss. (WXXV) — After going the first three games of the season without finding the end zone, PRCC hit paydirt twice in the first 10 minutes of the game, as Pass Christian alum Dustin Allison and Marquis McCoy connected from 32 and 16 yards out in the first quarter. However, the Wildcats squandered that 14-0 lead, and later a 21-7 lead, allowing Hinds to score 17 unanswered to end the game with a heartbreaking 24-21 overtime loss. PRCC falls to 0-4, while Hinds improves to 2-2.
