Handicap placards now available at Harrison County Tax Collector’s Office
Harrison County residents waiting to get replacement handicap display placards can now pick them up.
The Harrison County Tax Collector’s Office tells WXXV that the placards were sent to the office last week, but they had to wait for the Department of Revenue to add them to the inventory.
That’s now been done, so Tax Collector Sharon Nash Barnett has them available.
If a resident sent a letter in the office, the placard will be mailed or you can bring a letter showing the need for a placard and pick one up at the tax collector’s office at the courthouse.
The old placards expire September 30th.
