Our Lady Academy unveiled renovated area

Our Lady Academy unveiled their newly renovated office and student lounge.

Behind this door is Our Lady Academy’s new office and student spaces. We’re seeing this for the first time with the students, and we’re taking you with us. The space looks completely different, starting with a welcoming lobby.

After cutting the ribbon, everyone swarmed inside for the blessing of the new water fountain in the lobby and the crucifix.

The walls are covered in artwork and encouragement and office spaces are inviting.

Faculty has kept this part of the building blocked off for students, so they were very surprised to find their own student lounge complete with a couch, desks, and a TV.

We talked with two students about the space. Freshman Abby Zimmerman said, “I love it. I love that the students are going to have a place to go during the morning.”

Freshman Sophie LeBoeuf said, “They did a great job with providing things for students. Also, just like giving us a place to chill out between breaks so it’s not like sitting in the same desks every single time. There’s like a really nice couch and it also gives you a change of scenery from the same classroom.”
