Man wanted for arson in Gulfport
On September 6, 2023, at approximately 3:00 p.m., the Gulfport Police Department responded to a structure fire standby in the 14000 block of Our Road.
Upon arrival, Officers observed smoke emitting from the residence. Fire personnel arrived on scene and were able to extinguish the flames.
The Fire Investigator discovered multiple points of origin which helped determine the cause of the fire was caused intentionally.
During the course of the investigation, Marcus Anthony Elliot was developed as a suspect in the Arson. Elliot is described as a 37-year-old white male, approximately 6’00”, 190 lbs, with blue eyes and blonde hair. Elliot has an active felony warrant through the Gulfport Police Department.
