Gubernatorial candidate Brandon Presley visits the coast
On September 3, coastal residents rallied in support to hear from gubernatorial Democratic candidate Brandon Presley ahead of the November elections.
The rally, hosted by the Hancock County’s Federation of Democratic Women, saw candidate Presley and other local Democratic candidates speak.
Presley spoke on pressing matters, like the failing of the state’s healthcare and Medicaid system
He also shared his thoughts on Mississippi Today’s recent reports on Governor Tate Reeves’ attempt to conceal the Brett Favre welfare scandal.
“Building a coalition of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents across party lines to beat Tate Reeves come November. Mississippians understand what a corrupt governor he’s been what a corrupt person he is,” Brandon Presley said. “So that’s why we’re seeing Republicans come into our campaign. Mississippians are concerned about the corruption that is ran deep, Tate Reeves has been the chief cheerleader of this corruption. And I think Mississippians want a clean house in Jackson come November.”
Elections will be held November 7 as Presley tries to beat Governor Tate Reeves.
