Ohr O’Keefe Museum of Art holding art contest and exhibition

The Ohr O’Keefe Museum of Art in Biloxi announced its inaugural poster contest and exhibition.

The contest is open to all first through 12th grade Mississippi students who live or attend school within 40 miles of the museum. Home-schooled children are allowed to enter as well.

Guidelines are the work can’t be larger than 11 inches by 14 inches, must be put on a black or white poster board with a one-inch border, and must feature Ohr and his pottery.

Cash prizes of $50, $75, and $100 will be given to the top three entries.

The submission deadline is October 20th and the exhibition will be held November 16th.
