2023 Runoff Election Results

The results are in for the 2023 runoff election races across the Coast.

PEARL RIVER COUNTY

SUPERVISOR DISTRICT THREE: REPUBLICAN

With 100 percent precincts reporting, the unofficial results are in. Cruz Russell has won the Pearl River County Supervisor District Three runoff election race. Russell received 893 votes and Hudson Holliday received 740 votes.

SUPERVISOR DISTRICT FIVE: REPUBLICAN

With 100 percent of precincts reporting, the unofficial results are in. Bryce Lott has won the Pearl River County Supervisors District Five runoff election race. Lott received 967 of the votes and Donnie Saucier received 652 of the votes.

TAX ASSESSOR/COLLECTOR: REPUBLICAN

The Pearl River County Tax Assessor/ Collector race looks to be heading to a recount.  With 100 percent of precincts reporting, the unofficial results are in.

Jo Lynn Houston has received 2908 of the votes and Sandy Kane Smith has received 2906.  Still to be counted are affidavit ballots and absentee ballots that may still come in. Elections are not certified until ten days after the election.

SOUTHEAST CONSTABLE: REPUBLICAN

With 100 percent of precincts reporting, the unofficial results are in. Todd Douglas has won the Pearl River County Southeast Constable runoff election. Douglas had 1,449 of the votes and Edgar received 743 of the votes.

SOUTHWEST CONSTABLE: REPUBLICAN

With 100 percent of precincts reporting, the unofficial results are in. Rhonda Poche Johnson has won the Pearl River County Southwest Constable runoff election race. Johnson received 763 votes and James Edward Bolton received 514.

HANCOCK COUNTY

CHANCERY CLERK: REPUBLICAN

With 100 percent of precincts reporting, unofficial results are in. Tiffany Lee Cowman has won the Hancock County Chancery Clerk runoff election race. Cowman had 4,035 votes and Kodie Koenenn had 3,452.

SUPERVISOR DISTRICT 1: REPUBLICAN

With 100 percent of precincts reporting, unofficial results are in. Donald Wayne Graham has won the Supervisor District 1 race. Graham received 667 votes and Christopher ‘Packer’ Ladner received 545 votes.

SUPERVISOR DISTRICT 2: REPUBLICAN

With 100 percent of precincts reporting, unofficial results are in. Greg Shaw has won the Supervisor District 2 race. Shaw received 787 of the votes and Byron Ladner received 665 votes.

JACKSON COUNTY

SUPERVISOR DISTRICT 2: REPUBLICAN

According to our media partner the Sun Herald, Ennit Morris has won the Supervisor District 2 runoff election race. Morris received 856 votes and Felix ‘FeFe’ Fornett received 454.

STONE COUNTY

SHERIFF: REPUBLICAN

With 100 percent of precincts reporting, the unofficial results are in. Todd Stewart has won the Stone County sheriff’s runoff election race. Stewart received 2,223 votes and Lance Pearson received 1,536.

SUPERVISOR DISTRICT 1: REPUBLICAN

With 100 percent of precincts reporting, the unofficial results are in. Jimmy Spring has won the Stone County Supervisor District 1 runoff election race. Spring received 432 of the votes and Damian McKay received 269.

SUPERVISOR DISTRICT 2: REPUBLICAN

With 100 percent of precincts reporting, the unofficial results are in. Stevie Lee has won the Stone County Supervisor District 2 runoff election race. Lee received 563 of the votes and Andrew ‘Sonny’ Woodward III received 335.

SUPERVISOR DISTRICT 4: REPUBLICAN

With 100 percent of precincts reporting, the unofficial results are in. Ronald ‘Ralo’ Howard has won the Supervisor District 4 runoff election race. Howard received 538 of the votes and Bill Prout received 335.

CONSTABLE WEST: REPUBLICAN

With 100 percent of precincts reporting, the unofficial results are in. Mike Allen has won the Stone County Constable West runoff election race. Allen received 1,004 of the votes and Louis Simmons received 801.

GEORGE COUNTY

JUSTICE COURT JUDGE: REPUBLICAN

With 100 percent of precincts reporting, the unofficial results are in. Marty Davis has won the George County Justice Court Judge runoff election race. Davis received 886 of the votes and Martin Seib received 490.

STATE HOUSE DISTRICT 105: REPUBLICAN

Elliot Burch has won the State House District 105 runoff election race. Burch had 488 of the votes and Incumbent Dale Goodin had 60. Goodin was running for re-election to his second term.

STATE HOUSE DISTRICT 115: REPUBLICAN

Zachary Grady has won the State House District 115 runoff election race. Grady had 718 of the votes and Gines had 443.
