Aggravated Assault in Gulfport

A woman is in critical condition after a Gulfport shooting last night.
Gulfport police say around 7 p.m., authorities responded to a home on Fournier Road to investigate a report of an assault.
When officers arrived, an adult female was suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. She was taken to the hospital and is said to be in critical condition.
Neighbors say the woman was always a sweet person and they can’t believe this would happen to her.
