USM’s Monken Headed to Tampa Bay

After completely turning around the program, USM head football coach Todd Monken is leaving the university.
Yesterday, Coach Monken announced he’ll be resigning and becoming the new offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
When Monken took over, the Golden Eagles were 0-12. Just three years later, USM won the Conference USA West Division championship and went to a bowl game.
Monken told his players yesterday afternoon during a team meeting.
